With recent surveys indicating more than three-quarters of all hospitals and health systems having some sort of telehealth program in pilot stages or in place, the time is right for administrators to take a closer look at the platform. How can telehealth be aligned with clinician workflows and patient engagement goals? Where are the pain points, and where is the ROI – both in short-term successes (think low-hanging fruit) and long-term sustainability?

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston has been launching telehealth and telemedicine programs for several years, and is among the nation’s leading healthcare providers in proving the value of the platform – so much so that other health systems are coming to MUSC to see what they’re doing right. In this hour-long webinar, Shawn Valenta, MUSC’s director of telehealth, will explain how to launch a telehealth program, focusing on the objectives and roadblocks that every hospital should consider.
